Hello,
This past discussion has been very helpful to me. I can see now Frank why you feel the way you do about the company. You got screwed. I think success has a lot to do with who you meet and timing in terms of getting a good placement. GONY your situation surprises me because I've been told by recent agent hires that State Farm pays nothing and the initial books are usually worth $100-$160 at best. Maybe a few good things are changing as the company is learning more about how to help newbies be successful. Did you negotiate for that spot or was it assigned to you? I'm going to keep plugging away at this but with my eyes wide open! Hopefully State Farm isn't a General Motors waiting to happen. See today's Wall Street Journal if you want to hear about some really incredibly stupid managers.
