Used to be (pubicly) that men made fun of women, women of men, whites of African Americans, pretty of ugly...
Today, so many previously 'accepted' methods
of bigoted behaviour have
been made "non- PC". But we (some, anyway) as a species have a need to be bigots,
if not all the time, then some of the time.
One of the currently accepted
forms of bigotry is directed towards smokers.
True, it is an ugly habit.
However, I don't see as many
folks throwing their arms up in disgust over smoke when they start their own cars in the morning. Or farting 'ever so gently' is a crowded place.
Yes, someone may smell like smoke. It's not a healthy
habit, nor a glorious one.
But neither is bigotry. |

You cannot consider that to be "bigotry." Bigotry is dislike towards a specific type of person. Dislike of smoking is not disklike of a smoker, but rather it is a dislike of his habit.
