Wherever there are people, there are opportunities to schmooze.
Airports, stores, weddings, sporting events, you name it. Maximize your opportunities by being friendly, but not pushy.
Introduce yourself, or have someone introduce you to new people. It's a great idea to ask a host to make introductions for you at a function.
