I need to know if Prop Trading is a dead end career, given the circumstances that I am going to a recent college grad in May 2004. The position I will be interviewing for is a non salaried position but I'm told that I will be trading within months of passing the Series 7. The firm I am interviewing with is Carlin Group / Generic Trading Phila. Does anyone have any information or experiences, or stories to tell good or bad are welcome. Thank you guys.
