Hi,
I have trouble deciding between a fixed income trading offer at a BB firm (for their Asia office) or do "credit strategies" (both trading & research) at a very top hedge fund.
Please share your wisdom on medium-term (say 5 years)career growth potential, monetary reward, learning potential, job stress, job security ... etc!
My concerns with the S&T position is that it's non-USA. Would I have difficulty in case I want to come back to the States after a few years??
On the other hand, would I be limited to "hedge fund" only if I start out in this industry? what would be my exit strategy if I want a career change??
At this point, I don't know what I want to do long-term, being a trader or hedge fund manager both seems very fun ...
Thank You!!

I wouldn't worry about being stuck in the Hedge Fund world. If you'll be doing research and trading, you'll be much more diverse and may be able to move within research or trading. I would just make sure the hedge fund is legit. Good Luck
