Are most people who work at hedge funds former traders? Can this be seen as the main exit opportunity for traders? Also, being a novice I know little about the industry, do hedge funds deal with bonds at all or are they mostly concearned with stocks? Thanks for you help. |

No. most people who work at hedge funds are not traders. It is an exit stategy but not primary since it is on the other side of the markets( buy side vs sell side)Hedge funds trade anything and everything per their partneship agreements.
