They're both hard fuck face. But from my experiences math is much easier. All I'm saying is settting up problems (engineers) is a lot harder than solving them (mathematicians or computers). |

ah.. such a sweeping statement.. just waiting to get my ass kicked. such a fiesty crowd!
me39cu.. you speak of the wonders of PDEs and PFRs.. a fellow chemical engineer perhaps? I feel your pain! There's no subject tougher than engineering, whatever those maths geeksville majors may say. so don't bother about them! :)
point is (and there is one, after all my babbling), you don't need very much high powered maths.. unless you're structuring or working with derivatives. but actual trading calls for basic arithmetic!
