Hi Briman,
First, yes, we need the name of the company. It doesn't hurt to interview there and get an offer, but don't accept the offer until you get the info.
Second, NO YOU CAN'T TRADE WITHOUT LICENSES. Depending on what you're doing, you may need a Series 7, 55, or 63 license.
As far as information, consider typing their name on Yahoo/ Google and look for info.
As far as being "duped," ask about baseline salary (in other words, if you lose money, do you still get paid, or is salary only give on commission), benefits (med, dental, etc.) and liability (if you lose money, does it come out of your pocket).
If it seems too good to be true, it probably is, but please realize that just because you haven't heard of this company or don't know of its reputation doesn't mean that no one in the Vault community has.
Best of luck. |

If it is Triton Global, a buddy of mine just started there. From what I understand he was allowed to start trading after a one week course. Although I believe he had liscences from a previous job, but not sure if it works that way for everyone. Also, from what I understand I guess it is a new company and basically it is this obscenely rich guy who is recruiting bright young kids to trade his money. But that is about all I know.
