I am currently a junior in college. I am very interested in sales and trading. I plan to purchase the following books for trading. 1) Options: Essential Concepts and Trading Strategies 2)Technical Analysis of the Futures Market: A Comprehensive Guide to Trading Methods & Applications 3)A Course in Game Theory 4) Options as a Strategic Investment 5)Option Volatility and Pricing. Will these following books give me insight into a trading career. I have an internship at Merrill Lynch in the fall(private client sales). I plan to intern or work for a market maker firm next summer. Please give me valuable insight. I would like to hear from intern, assistant traders, and traders as well. Thanks a lot |

Any book/article by Nassim Taleb is worth reading, especially his book Dynamic Hedging. Unlike Hull, and every other text book, which are completely stale boring books, Taleb brings in his own experience as a floor trader, head of a desk, and hedge fund manager. His books are mainly about options and volatility.
