I just got a phone message that the hire date for my job as an AT for an options trading firm,which was supposed to start the day after Labor Day, is postponed indefinitely!!! They said it was due to market conditions, but I was under the impression that the options market is not as affected from poor market conditions. Is this company jerking my chain? The worst part is, I was supposed to start in June, but got moved to the september start date instead. And then they said that I'll be receiving $10k less than what I started for. Is it a good thing that I'm not going to be working for this company? |

If it is, it just further reinforces my suspicions that this firm isn't on the up and up.
