That is absolutely sorry money. Investment banking analysts make that much coming out of college. Another reason why trading sucks. |

This is bogus information, 100K is way too low for that position. Of course you are correct concerning the IB analysts salary, BUT don't assume that Investment Bankers make more than Market Makers, because that wouldn't be true. This guy is just sadly misinformed as to how much you can make at a top market making firm. Also, try to get over your inferiority complex. You don't have to try to dis trading just because you could never make it in the trading world. Practice doing anal work for 120 hours a week because it sounds like thats what you want to do. Have fun!
