what are the traders wearing to work. Also who are the people on the trading floor with different multi-colored suits and why do they wear these funny clown suits.
would i be mistaken if i said these people are called floor brokers. |

The first day I stepped onto the trading floor with my traditional blue suit and white shirt, I was laughed off the floor by traders and told to go to Brooks Brothers and get the correct wardrobe before coming back. Go there (they have a Wall St. and a Park Ave. location) and ask for the "trader's special." They'll outfit you with 5 multi-colored suits, one for each day and so you'll fit in with the other traders. They gave me a choice of about 10 colors to choose from, I went with red, purple, green, yellow, and orange.
