I heard there is this second year trader at MSDW that cleared a million in his second year? Is that even possible?
What do u guys think will happen to the average comps. of the junior traders with the erosion of margins thanks to computers?
Is it then not better to work only for prop. trading, so that your income is not based upon commissions, but on the bets you make? |

Bull shit,
Yes, margins go down, but the good banks will also generate more flow. So Q*P does not necessarily decrease. Just look at DB with Autobahn.
