quick, accurate, consistent thinking. the ability to enjoy not simply tolerate a fast-paced environment. being confident in your strategy and believing that what you are doing is the right thing to do - in other words dont second guess yourself, or else the opportunity is gone. you must, in my opinion, be very mathematically inclined and be comfortable and good with numbers. lastly, i feel that a good trader must be competitive - why do you think so many former athletes end up as traders? you must have that burning competitive spirit inside you that pushes you to always want to do faster and better. hope this helps. |

You need big balls, and you need to remain calm under pressure. Know lots of statistics. And REMAIN CALM when you're in the toilet!
