Top traders can make more money than top salesmen, but both can make a hell of a lot. there are completely different skill-sets though. If you are naturally a salesman you will make more money there, if a trader, than that will be more lucrative. That is the only criteria that you should allow to drive you. Which challenge would you enjoy more: persuading knowledgeable clients that your market view is the right one, and you are the go-to man whenever there is an event that needs interpreting, or punting the market with the firms capital? Decide which of these you would be best at and would enjoy most and there is your decision. |
