what is your take on advanced degree for trading @ a BB. MBA vs. MA (Math, Stats, Math Finance). I would think the MA suffice for trading. How do u think that is viewed when an interviewer is looking @ the resumes. Also, what about if u are in a BB and want to apply for a program. Do u think your chances are the same or better (question from my friend). |

a desk head told me tomorrow's traders are the mathmeticians of today. take it for what its worth but I think you can get in either way. MA might be better but you cant beat an MBA network and a lot of getting a job is getting your foot in the door which an MBA does.
