I am a buyside analyst. I see traders and feel that I would like the job. Would you please tell me what is the best and the worst thing about the job. I am great at numbers but suck at "ass kissing". What things do I need to have.
Also do people working in trading before the move to hedge fund or from analyst position (Derivatives)(like mine)can move to hedge fund. Please advice.

hedge funds are past it. generally traders at major i-banks would leave their desks to join a hedge fund because the lira on offer is soooooo much bigger!
