I am curious to know how much prop traders at FNYS make a month.. in average. I know the variance will be huge, but what would you say the better half of traders are making monthly. Thanks.

First year TAs at FNYS get $45k, then move on to draw vs. P/L the second year. The interviewer asked me how much I thought I could make my first year after the training period at FNYS. FOOLISHLY I tried to be humble, as I had ZERO prop trading experience, and said that six figures would be my short-term goal. WRONG ANSWER! He quickly shot me down and said that he want his traders to shoot for millions right out of the gate. Riiiiiiiiight...good luck!
