I am interested in trading, and eventually working in nyc. however, my background says anything but... I have a communications undergrad and marketing mba, with a year of retail banking experience and a bunch of other unrelated stuff.
i have thought about trying to earn a series 7 through a company that says it will sponsor me with no production requirements. does anyone think it's worth the time. i just want to show someone that i am willing to put in some effort to get work done and am motivated. i have read through other posts, and understand the viewpoint that i shouldn't waste my time going this route, b/c a company will hire a person if they want them regardless of whether or not they are hired. I believe with my limited background that I need to make some kind of impact though.
A company that says they will sponsor me without any production is Quest Capital Investment. Does anyone know anything about them?
Please give me your feedback on what i should do. I get more frustrated day by day with this job search.
