True but most of the big banks are getting involved or will be in the near future. I know several guys that have recently received offers to trade MW or NG for Citi and BofA.
A good source also claims that BankOne will be trading physical power and gas by the end of '04.

BOa and Citi are in for managing the portfolio of distressed gen assets they are getting from all the companies that they project financed.
Some of them are trying to get rid of the portfolio to compaies who can manage the assets physically.
But I agree that financial players would provide liquidity and improve things.
What are you guys thinking about Gas?
