I've found that no matter how you try to be sure beforehand that a job is the right one, there are always some surprises. Some you can live with, some others are harder to accept. Hope everything works out ok this time. J
Message: This is a thought that is really disturbing. Lots of uninspired companies are really hung up on the job title and years of service as a measure for pay but lets face it, some people are more effective than others and deserved to be rewarded as such. I know this is a really difficult concept but probably the only system that is really fair (pay for performance). How many times have you seen a Sr. Manager that has been around for years and really isn't competent for the position they hold? Looks at companies that are really stellar performers and I bet you'll find some forward thinking compensation systems. Oh, and employees that reveal their salaries to others should be FIRED! Have a little sense.
