I am a senior graduating in May from a top tier University. I have high hopes for entering the top MBA program, however, I am under the impression that my GPA (3.4)will be too low and even with stellar GMAT scores I will not be able to make the cut. Coming from the Balkans, I am really not focused so much on landing a job with a top IBank, rather my genuine interest is to get the best education possible so I can make a difference where I am really needed. What should I focus on in the next couple of years to maybe better my chances of getting into a good b-school? |

Best thing right now is to get a solid position with a solid company so that you can get some solid experience before you go to grad school.
Who would you rather hire to turn your company around and save it from the jaws of ruin? A person who has lived thru it and done it (even if it failed) or a person who read about it in a book?
Best wishes
