Hello,
I accepted an offer Wed afternoon by phone around 4:00 EST, they told me 48 hours I needed to have a drug screen, but thought she said "by end of Monday", that's what I wrote in my notes anyway while I was on the phone. I looked for my packet in mail Thurs, not there, Friday not there. Well this AM I found it between my front door- (which I never use) and the screen door delivered by good old UPS Thurs AM, no signature needed, no yellow sticky on door nothing!
So needless to say it is now more than 48 hours (labs closed weekends!), and the letter is highlighted with that part! I am in a full panic (FYI don't use any drugs!). AM going to go first thing MON AM, but am terrified they are going to rescind my offer, large financial services firm.
I know I should have called on Thurs, I just wasn't thinking, gave my notice at current job, had a lot on the mind.
Any HR/recruitment execs out there as to how this might get handled?
