In Reply To: RB Brussels is a real sad story... They have made it part of the Paris office, although it was running quite OK before, lots of interesting projects and much fun. These times are gone. Recently, this turns into a disaster. 1) Projects are mostly in Paris, an office which has been taken over by a former A.T. Kearney bunch and turned into a purchasing practice. Paris treats the Brussels office like a non-performing subsidiary and all its consultants have the benefit to be considered moron by default. 2) The office is now run by a wannabe-Partner, who thinks management is all about mobbing and shouting at people. A joke. His consulting skills are inexistant and he churns out projects at such discounts that consultants need to work incredible hours afterwards to get back into the money. 3) The other Partner is worse. He doesn't sell at all. Instead, he invents new rules and procedures to keep people busy with things that don't matter -- if he is in the office, that is. His working times seem to suggest that he runs another company elsewhere in parallel. 4) In 12 months, almost all decent people have gone. We lost the spirit. If you complain, you get sacked. That's what happened to one of the Juniors and to the Accountant recently.
