Online recruiting is but one tool in your arsenal to find any career. I spent my summer transitioning from one career to another - by choice. I posted my HRM and T&OD resumes on all the 'big' boards and got very few online nibbles. I actually had better success networking person to person and responding to want ads. One very good online source is www.shrm.org. While your there, consider finding out about your local chapter and going to a few meetings to start your network.
Invest in only one career transition book - What Color is Your Parachute - published by Ten Speed Press.
