I suspect that annoys the recruiter(s) that engage in flame wars. True enough, many of us have assignments.
However, it's also true that some contractors are not working and there are probably many reasons for this. And, many FTEs are reluctant to attempt a move. |

Charles,
I agree that many people are working, however, studies show that the unemployment rate for people over 50 is 17 percent. That figure is old and so it must be higher today.
You would think that employers and headhunters would realize that experience counts a great deal. It seems that all the fastbuck artists are merely looking to place bodies. There just doesn't seem to be much social conscience amongst headhunters.
