In Reply To: a gal showed up yesterday for her interview in short, low-ride cut off jeans and a midriff halter top!!!! Can you imagine??!!! Yeah !! That must have been the bubbly/perky little recruiter detailed in a story months ago. That's how she got her first job last year as a recruiter I heard. "part-time office assistant" You offer a job that no one would want and what do you expect? A part-time office assistant? It's a flunky job. Take the girl, she'll probably fit in well with your office decorum. Proof that the lowest of the lows crawl out from under the rocks via newspaper ads Take a midol and chill out! Some attitude - needs major adjustment. That girl should see your comments and feel lucky you didn't hire her. She'd be happier at Portillos.
Message: You lose all credibility when you post a response like that.Is there no end to your 'recruiter rage'! I think I just coined a new term. Anyway, let's all admit whether you are interviewing for a position as a Vice-President of Sales or a office assistant, there is a standard rule of thumb to follow in dressing for the interview. It's not about the level of the job,it's about the person. Presenting yourself professionally and neatly for an interview is something even kids in highschool learn,so it's hard to come up with an excuse for that particular girl. For the record IT talented person, you should not be insulting recruiters. As an "IT Talented Person",you are in a job that does not demand a degree and plenty of flunkies go to a trade school and learn to code. Your profession has overtaken by H1Bs who can barely speak English, and kids in their 20s. So for every bubbly recruiter you claim probably worked at Mc Donalds in a past life, I can guarantee there are 3 technical people who worked FOR the recruiter at Mc Donalds!
