I am a corporate recruiter and find it very difficult to obtain any meaningful information on these message boards.
Our world is quite different than the contract recruiter and I thought maybe we needed to start a separate topic to keep away from all of the nonsence going on out there!

There is a good deal of shared info between Permanent Placement Recruiters in here, but it's intermixed with the contractor's comments and experiences with their "borks" as they so fondly refer to the people who they deal with.
I've made several attempts recently to contact those who are "contract only" to ask if they will consider permanent employment and 99% of them will not...therefore there is nothing I can do to help them.
Where would you like to begin in discussing challenges or problems within the world of permanent placements?
