In Reply To: I just came from the "Recruiting Firms That Suck" thread and was reprimanded by these same two bozos who tried to accuse recruiters of defending one another when one of them has been targeted as being "unprofessional".... NOW, look at you two...coming in here defending this loser candidate who did not even have the professional courtesy or balls to go up to personel and say "I'm sorry, but I've changed my mind about this interview today...I do apologize for the waste of time and effort and please extend my apologies to the hiring managers I was scheduled to meet with today". Would that not have been a better way to handle this rather than slinking out the back door? The Client doing the interviewing in this case happens to be a very good company. People who have accepted positions with them are very happy and are compensated and treated fairly. BTW...I was not the recruiter in this situation...it was someone else in our office. She attempted several times to contact this loser candidate to find out just what the problem was...she left several messages. They were valid and professional messages asking him to please call and let her know what happened to make him walk out like that. Was she missing something important? Is there something WE should know about this Company that has escaped us in the past? He never called back and she never heard from him again. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL no matter how you want to look at it. Uncalled for behavior. No amount of excuses you want to come up with for this guy will justify what he did...sorry there pal. Face the facts...just as there are loser recruiters, there are plenty of loser candidates as well. Are you in denial?
Message: Our Admin Assistant is quitting to go to school in August, so we ran an ad in the paper for a part-time office assistant. Proof that the lowest of the lows crawl out from under the rocks via newspaper ads was when a gal showed up yesterday for her interview in short, low-ride cut off jeans and a midriff halter top!!!! Can you imagine??!!!
