As I've mentioned before, I don't work with contractors.
I do permanent placements only. When I find a H-1B candidate, my companies have to really like them and feel they can truly do the job since it can be quite complicated and expensive to sponsor them.
Most of my companies are only budgeted for x-number of
H-1Bs per year....once they hit their quota, they have to wait until the next year to bring them in.
You & I really and truly are not in the same league. Interpret that however you like. |

Permanent H-1Bs only is a contradiction in terms. The H-1 program provides Temporary Visas for foreign workers up to a maximum of six (6) years.
Using the word "permanent" implies their visa would provide a permanent job with a company, which it does NOT, and permanent status in this country, which it does not. It is NOT a ??green?? card.
The concept behind the H-1B visa is to provide "temporary" work privileges to a foreign worker to relieve a perceived "manpower" shortage in this country. Therefore you DO NOT place ??Permanent H-1Bs only?? since they ALL are temporary workers.
Could you please be more careful with your language because the less knowledgeable will believe what you said in your message, which would be incorrect.
BTW - the unfortunate truth is that corporate American has a shortage of workers at their desired ??price??, but there never was a shortage of workers to fill positions.
