I met 2 VPs of a consulting firm who came into the interview room 25 minutes late. they didn't bother to apologize, didn't formally introduce themselves and then proceeded to harass me for the next hour.
They informed me that they didn't typically look at people with a marketing degree because they viewed it as a "soft major." One VP also had me sell him his Mont Blanc pen. It was one of those questions with no correct answer.I felt as if I were a piece of meat thrown to very hungry wolves.
At the end, they asked me if I had any questions. "Well, there is no time now for your questions. I will call you at 11:30 tonight to answer them."
Then, they made me wait outside while they conferred. They brought me back in, offered me the position but were not going to tell me the salary amount. "We are not going to tell you the salary since you did not list Salary in your top 3 criteria for this posiiton."
Needless to say, with VPs like that, I DID find out the salary offer and did NOT accept the "offer."
