Can someone direct me to some of the PHR self study programs you guys have mentioned? I took and passed my CPC exam last year and have 6 years HR experience and would like to begin self study for the PHR. Also, I have another question that might sound stupid, but what is the difference between the PHR and SPHR? I have sometimes heard the terms used interchangably and would like to know the difference.

SPHR is the senior certification, and PHR is the general certification. To find more out more about it, purchase study materials, and get registration materials, go to the Society for Human Resource Management website http://www.shrm.org and go the certification section, and they explain everything in complete detail. If you are not already a member, you may also want to consider joining SHRM, the exam fee and the cost of the materials are quite discounted for members.
