I am new to The Vault and was interested to see postings for Ogilvy PR. I am, however, quite surprised by what I have read. I have been with Ogilvy PR for approximately six and one-half years. I continue to find it an exciting place to work and grow -- with great opportunities and supportive management.
During my tenure, the organization has grown exponentially -- both organic growth as well as through acquisitions. While there have been "growing pains," management has responded with programs and initiatives to focus attention on employees while maintaining high expectations for client service. The results have been positive for both staff and clients. Indeed, it is not difficult to find staff that have been with Ogilvy PR for 10, 12, even 18 years.
I am sorry if a few have had bad experiences with the agency, but there are many of us who continue to look forward to the new opportunities available.

I've worked at a lot of agencies in my time -- from Edelman to Ruder Finn to Nelson Communications and Hill & Knowlton -- and Ogilvy PR is far and away the best agency I've ever worked with. The level of professionalism coupled with a livable environment is the ideal place to foster creativity and great client relationships.
In addition to what was said before, I think a good judge of an agency is how long clients have been with us -- 10, 15 years for many of our largest clients. Not many agencies can say that -- especially all those start-up agencies that think a five-year milestone is a big deal.
I don't know where these other people are getting their information, but it's not from anyone who actually works here.
Check your sources before you believe this stuff.
