I use to work with Protiviti in 2005 and left because I realized (in 3 months) that all the promises made to me were lies. I later found out that around 6 people left with me in the same month.
I would advice to young people that if you really want to get into consulting, then join big four.
I tried holding off my thoughts to myself for a long time but then today when I came across a resume from Protiviti and she had the same story as mine,I felt I should at least post my opinion here.
