Hello,
I am going to have a phone interview for the SPA associate position this week.
Any advice on how to prepare for this interview, Any technical questions.
I have about 7 months experince coming out of college doing mainly Internal Audit and SOX work.

Ken, I think you'll find that they are less concerned about any technical answers than they are about how you'll fit into the yes man culture and if you're willing to kill yourself, working like a dog.
And no, I'm not joking. Associates are thought of as rocket scientists. They are to be molded into what the firm wants them to be. I'm not trying to be cruel here. Just honest.
Example of something you might be asked: How would you handle X situation? or How did you handle Y situation? It'll be behavioral type in nature. Do a search on the web. Plenty of crap out there on how to prepare for behavioral type interviews.
