In Reply To: Went back and looked at it. Chicago - experienced manager I would guesstimate base at around $140. Culture is both collegiate and competitive. It depends on who your partner is. They really set the tone for how the group works with each other. That's one thing about this place that isn't specific to Health care. Partner's in a siloed way, determine the culture and the culture isn't this rah rah crap you read about because then that would signify unity across the different business parts and pieces. Since the incentive for a partner is to steal business from his brethren (i.e. Advisory steals from Audit and vice versa), you'll hardly see lots of kumba ya going on.
Message: hi have seen a couple of your posts and think you are probably the person who can address my questions about working at PwC. I am interviewing with PwC for a job within the Advisory Practice. I have 8 years of industry experience, on the industry & vendor side, and the recruiter has mentioned that when we complete the process, they may make me an offer as a Manager/ Senior Manager. How do they decide whether to bring you in as a Manager or as a Senior Manager? What is the difference between Managers & Senior Managers in terms of salary, role, etc? Thanks in advance.
