Hello,
Much to my surprise, PWC contacted me for an interview and a dinner engagement. I really want to be a part of this great organization, but I am afraid that my age (30) may work against me, especially in a more formal evening setting where I am used to entertaining people (I can??t hide that I have worked before). I keep telling myself that the fact that PWC called me is a good sign and that my age was already evident on my CV, but I still feel that the cards are stacked against me. Any suggestions? This interview means the world to me and I would appreciate any tips. For example, since it??s obvious that I will be watched closely, are there certain elements common to these dinner engagements (e.g., topics of conversation, formal vs. relaxed environment)?
Also, since this is an internship interview, I want to ask whether this is an all-or-nothing affair; that is, if I am not selected, whether I should not bother seeking full-time employment in the future. I am afraid that I may have stretched myself too thin by getting an interview now when I may have had more opportunities to obtain something full time next fall.
Thank you so much,
