You can say that the PI Group and the Advisory group in general is closer to Management Consulting, although it cant be officially called that b/c of the non-compete clause with IBM and SOX. All the Big 4 are slowly trying to build up their "consulting" branches that they sold off a few years back. The PI group does all types of services from Technology to business, so what you do depends on which part of the group your in.
