It's good to know that you had a positive experience. Maybe the interviewer was trying to make it seem worse than it really is so there are no "surprises." I'm at the point where I want to stay somewhere long-term and when I read on the board that people leave after 2 years, it makes me nervous. |

From talking to those hired over the past year, it's usually the opposite. Partners and HR tend to paint the picture much rosier. In fact - get this - one person hired said that their partner said that the position would require no more than 50% travel. They're going back and forth between two, major cities (about a 250 miles) on a weekly basis. The partner's comment about this is that she and/or he doesn't consider that "travel".
