and many more besides. I stayed for more than 7 years and yes, I did end up loving it. I had to leave because it was time to do something different for me and my life -oddly, given the mainstream perception of PwC & the Big 4 as the pinnacle of achievement, I felt I'd reached a comfort zone at PwC that I couldn't easily break out of and I wanted to prove that I wasn't a "one trick pony".
However, in 7 years with PwC I am happy to say that those years rank high among the most positive experiences I've ever had on both a professional and personal level. It was DEFINITELY worth it!!! I know a lot of people who would say the same thing. Almost all of them are not with the Firm now; a few are, but to a person, I don't know anyone who would say that their experience at the Firm wasn't valuable in a number of ways. |

It's good to know that you had a positive experience. Maybe the interviewer was trying to make it seem worse than it really is so there are no "surprises." I'm at the point where I want to stay somewhere long-term and when I read on the board that people leave after 2 years, it makes me nervous.
