In Reply To: Sastal, if you fall into the experienced hires categories (which it appears you do), get used to the snooty attitude of PWC. In fairness, it's also this way with the other BIG4 firms. There is a lack of appreciation for those who have been in the job market. It's much more difficult to mold an experienced hire into a yes-man. Independend thinking and assertiveness is not something embraced. As another individual pointed out, you may have been blown off for other reasons however, I would take this blow-off as a sign of things to come.
Message: Going to have to disagree a little with pwc0101 on this. Experienced hires (i am one) bring valuable and different experiences to any organisation. PwC, like any other Big 4, recruits grads and experienced hires in order to meet the needs of our clients and ensure that we have a great range of people in the business. If you feel as if you were short-changed when you spoke with the PwC rep then reach out to anyone else you know here and put this down to someone having a bad day.
