In terms of days:
I think the average time before the firm extends an offer for top candidates is anywhere between 1 and 5 days.
After that, there is usually a waiting period of about 2-3 weeks before the next round of offers. I think that's the std amount of time PwC gives candidates to respond.

~ NYC ~ : Many thanks for your input. I interviewed for an Associate Assurance position on Monday (along with three other candidates) and still haven't heard anything (it's currently Thursday). I keep asking myself if I would have heard by now were I clearly not a choice.
Also, from what I gather from previous postings, 25-50% of on-site interviewees receive offers; thus, I'm thinking only one or two of us four candidates will make the cut... Thoughts?
