I would like to hear more about your situation because I think I am thinking about leaving as well. I am currently in Audit (started last August) and have decided I do not want to stick with it long-term. I was thinking about trying to transfer to TS b/c it sounds more interesting. What did you not like about TS? Also, how did you land the new job? Did you have some sort of connection? What part of the country are you in (I'm assuming NYC)? |

I was actually with TS in the Chicago office. I think it is a great group but transfering in can be difficult. My advice is to stick it out in audit, but start networking with the TS group and let you relationship partner know you want to move into TS. What office are you in? I may be able to give you a contact. As for my new job, I only left PwC because I have always wanted to get into Ibanking. The firm treated me great and I will definitely go back to TS sometime in the future. Landing the job...I did not have any connection. I just used vault.com and craigslist.com to look for opennings. I think my GPA helped in landing interviews as did having TS on my resume. Once you get the interview, its up to you to sell yourself. Let me know if you have any other questions.
