now get out. After 6-7 months of experience the firm has alot invested in you so far and has gotten no return from your efforts. |

For the record, I am SO surprised to be reading a cynical reply from Buster :)
For arguement's sake, here are the details:
1) I bill out at about $17,500 a week, sometimes more, sometimes less.
2) My salary, with overtime, is the equivalent of $13 dollars an hour. Pre-tax.
Conclusion: Not feeling sorry for PwC.
Correct me if I'm wrong, it seems to be the PwC way - pull young kids out of college, work them to death, and replace them when they can't take it anymore. The turnover speaks for itself. Now there are some people that undenaibly thrive in this environment, and become the great leaders of PwC. These tend to be the exceptions rather than the norm, I suspect that Buster is one of these people.
My initial point remains that this lifestyle is not for everyone. Buster, with your experience with the firm, I honestly expected something constructive and helpful. However, you've just reinforce my opinion of the PwC "group think" and a complete rejection of anyone who speaks up or gets out.
