In Reply To: I have Masters in non-Accounting discipline, dealing with government and econ from Top 25 Grad school. Have spent the last 6 years working in and consulting for federal government with major consulting firms. Recently have been taking accounting courses to meet educational requirements for CPA. Want to move into Big 4 after complete the coursework. Can I expect any interest from Big 4 after attain CPA? If so, what level and function can I expect? What salary?
Message: AI#9...if you have 6 years of experience in non-audit roles, but had your CPA...I'd say maybe a 3rd year associate. pay range around $50k. but don't expect to be considered manager/partner track at that stage unless you are a STAR.
