gpa will get you the initial interview, after that it is all how well you click with your recruiter/interviewer to get a second interview. then it is how well you do in the interview that determines if you will get an offer. I had the lowest gpa in my superday group, not in BAP, but got the offer over others because I did well in the interview. |

We recruit heavily from 6 or 7 schools in my office. One of the second tier schools had over 100 applicants with a GPA above 3.5. Only 40 of them got interviews. Mostly based on someone having met the person. You need to look at your school and ask yourself, "how do most people get the interview?"
As I said earlier, developing relationships will also help you slid past if you don't have an oustanding interview. I have sat in many meetings were discussed not just the events of that days visit, but the on campus interviews and other prior interactions, before making the decision to make the offer.
