In Reply To: Do you want to be the one to tell the sponsoring partner of the event, who is usually a senior partner, why you don't want to share a room? I don't think everybody makes their attendees share rooms, though--but I have heard that everybody under partner shares in Tax, and Assurance I remember having to share until I made manager.
Message: either I requested it on the form that was sent when you signed up or arranged it when I got to the hotel itself. I think I checked with HR once. Other than that, I never had a problem and never had anyone ask me or complain about it. Sharing hotel rooms to me, again, it absolutely a no-go, no-way, no-how. Not gonna happen. I'd tell Dennis Nally himself if I had to. As far as the last message in this thread, of course you don't share rooms in the Q Center! The rooms are barely large enough for a 12 year old, much less an adult!!
