Do you want to be the one to tell the sponsoring partner of the event, who is usually a senior partner, why you don't want to share a room? I don't think everybody makes their attendees share rooms, though--but I have heard that everybody under partner shares in Tax, and Assurance I remember having to share until I made manager.
