I'm a junior in college and have gotten my resume out to several recruiters, and have completed the OCP. I just got an eVite for some sort of back-to-school social function in Los Angeles.
This is all great, and as far as I can tell only 100 people were invited (I think). The problem is that I want to work at a PwC office in Northern California, not really LA. Should I still go? Another problem is that I'm about 2 hours away. I am very interested in a summer internship- up north, will not attending this event hurt my chances? Will attending it greatly increase them? Is it worth the 2 hour drive?
