Dear Friends,
We have recently established a social club for biotech/pharma professionals in NY/NJ area. Our first Pharma-Karma Club meeting will be held on Friday, November 3, 2006 at 7:00PM in Manhattan at a place to be determined soon. Please, reply if interested.
Below is the club's description:
Welcome to Pharma Karma, the first Healthcare Club serving New York City and its surrounding areas.
- The newly established Pharma Karma Club of New York and New Jersey is a select group of professionals from Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Medical device organizations.
- Pharma Karma is founded as a "friends network". We would like to promote interactions between the industry and academic community. Therefore, Pharma Karma is opened to academic scientists and to anyone whose work
is related to the healthcare field. Whether you are a Biologist, Chemist, Statistician or a Patent Attorney, the Pharma Karma of NY/NJ would provide an
easy way to connect with each other.
- Members meet once a month to socialize, network, and of course, to have fun. Our get-togethers or cocktail hours take place in Manhattan or in
various New Jersey locations.
- Our club does not function like any formal organization in the area. Pharma Karma is the only one of its kind, unique social outlet in NYC metro area! It is very informal club with no membership fees, no officers, and no speakers, strictly social interaction.
